Deviants Demonstration

Sooo....

thanks, Amelie for putting this test space up and inviting me.

It's a good thing to make design suggestions and play around with them for everyone involved to see how things would look like on the blog.

I was thinking about what else, besides a header, would be nice to have 'illustrated' on the blog.

Since you guys seem to have regular topics going on, like fic reccs, guest post and else, I was wondering whether you'd like to have illustrated vignettes to appear with them. Like the example below, which I made for regular one-shot reccs. Look, look:

If so... I need the following information:

1. Which are the regular categories?

2. What are their titles???

I really like "A Shot in the Dark". It would be great, if the other titles could play around with the word "Dark", too... so the signature type font would be in all of the illus, ya know? Just an idea...

Besides that, please also decide on what other illustrated elements you want to have for the blog:

1. post dividers?

2. menu buttons?

3. a link button for affiliates?

4. alternative formats of the header banner? (like for ffnet or rav)

I'm willing to make all of it, in order to have a sort of 'corporate identity' for the deviants where everything matches. All I need is more instructions on WHAT you want.

And all I want in return is - like I pointed out on chat - your eternal love (which more or less means: a constant and visible credit on the blog that says who did all the illu shit).

That's all. Do we have a deal?

P.S. That search field on the right top in the header annoys the shit outta me *cringes*, js. Can we do anything about it??
